Enjoy a game drive to Lion Island. The landscape, reminiscent of prehistory, will take you on a journey to hopefully spotting some of our resident predators.
The camp can be booked out completely for a private stay so feel free to enquire. We also offer private game drives on request at an additional rate.Â
Our History
A little bit about ChaCha
For thirty years the Niven family have been exploring the wonderful gems that Botswana has on offer so for us it was logical to try and recreate something enduring. Clyde, with the pioneering spirit of Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, his Great Grandfather, had a clear vision of what He wanted to create, an enduring, symbiotic relationship with nature and people where families can experience all the Okavango Delta has to offer.

The Family Room
We offer two family rooms. Our tented rooms offer a spacious bedroom with a full bathroom with bath and shower and an annex with 2 beds for children. We take children of any age which offers families to travel and experience this jewel together.

Our Living Space
Enjoy our relaxing living space right on the waters edge. Here you can find yourself sitting back, soaking in the scenery and most importantly - gazing at all the animals. To showcase Africa’s uniqueness we journey through local dishes with our chef Nkesang: We have developed a menu inspired by some of the most iconic African food offerings. Although the menu celebrates and showcases Botswana beef, many of the dishes are inspired by African Vegetarian dishes.
Horse Safaris
We offer walks with an experienced guide for a close up and intimate look at the Delta and horseback safaris for the experienced riders. We offer a wide range of experienced horses, fit for a seasoned rider.
Mokoro trips
Mokoros on our beautiful water ways with some of our local community guiding as pollers is a must. Our powers will take you on a magic trip through the lilies and water beds.
Game Drives
Enjoy a game drive to Lion Island. The landscape, reminiscent of prehistory, will take you on a journey to hopefully spotting some of our resident preditors. We are in a game rich area, with life abundant in all colours and shapes.
